Well, if you remember from genesis, mans ways, the ways we chose, are the knowledge of good? and evil. God warned us not to eat of that or we would die. Gods ways are life. He is the author of life. Jesus came so that we may have life and life abundantly. So you if you love the fruit you will eat it.

Over population ...
Over population doesn't justify the action and lack of appropriate communications spanning thousands of years when human population was far less 500 million. Over population doesn't change the situation, it only reveals with more dramatic effects the cause and effects of our way of doing things. And with powerful instant media tools, that further dramatizes the scale for which events occure by sending the news all around? the world instantly.

I do not believe we are overpopulated...I do not believe that man is the problem, should be ashamed to be on the planet but rather is an asset...I reject shame global warming is based on false science..overpopulation is an excuse to not consider the real economic solution we do have...have you read Henry George? Are you familiar with the shaky science" behind Malthus? It is this bad science of Malthusianism that keeps the belief? in too many people

My main question, ...
My main question, after reading and listening to Dr. Rosenberg's "System" of communication, is how do we overcome the fact that most conflict, violence and even environmental issues, are rooted in overpopulation? How do we address population control issues without stepping on one's "Civil Rights"?? Every time I look at a "Problem" or "Crisis", it always comes down to the fact that everyone has their "needs". And the more "everyones" we add to the equation, the more "needs" we add as well. SO?

So, in a sense, we can all be saints - or gods, for that matter. Not only that, it's actually rather easy to become one? and it's not all that special (no immortality, no super powers). We think it's something special only because we lost our way. Imo it's the fact that we lost our way that's special.

I hadn't listened ...
I hadn't listened to the whole interview when I put my question and noticed that you bring it up later on. This is a very conscious process and mastering it requires consciously dealing? with all sources of reactivity within ourselves. Ultimately, I think it does lead to sainthood. The problem in my case was thinking that I could simply deny my own needs - a fast track to enlightenment - but you can only get away with lying to yourself for so long. The joke was on me.

"How does this tie in with spirituality as presented by Eckhart Tolle for example ? " This is why I question Tolle when it comes to manifestation? (when good communication is a must) the short answer is that all needs are always the same...what changes are our strategies to meet them

I wonder about the ...
I wonder about the ultimate veracity of our needs. Do we have a need to be loved which people so often confuse with being approved of ? Is not the greatest need or aspiration to be free of all psychological demands. How does this tie in with spirituality as presented by Eckhart Tolle for example ? There is a maturing process here and the needs? of a mature individual are definitely not the same as the needs of one who is immature psychologically or spiritually.
